Founded in 1964, John Jay has a long history of graduating outstanding leaders and we believe that every John Jay student has the potential to make a difference in their community, the nation and the world.
Through a unique emphasis on educating for justice, John Jay students have the opportunity to choose from a broad selection of majors ranging from English, history, anthropology, economics and philosophy to criminal justice, forensic science, international criminal justice and forensic psychology.
Academic advisors work closely with students to assist them in determining which area of study, including different combinations of majors and minors, works best for them.
