Food Pantry
Anyone enrolled in courses at John Jay is eligible to use the Food Pantry. (Recipients are required to present proof of enrollment once per semester).
Each visit to the Food Pantry requires a check-in at our front desk and a short interview with a Peer Educator. This interview determines your eligibility, the kinds of food you would like, and other necessary information.
We order most of our food from the New York City Food Bank. Products offered depend on availability and current finances. We try to provide as much variety as possible while allowing for cost limitations and providing students' basic nutritional needs.
