Events & Workshops

Our social and educational workshops provide opportunities to learn new things, make friends, and feel connected to the John Jay community.

Sistah Circle

Sistah Circle is a social support for John Jay students. Each meeting enables includes a discussion of topics/events affecting women-identified students of color, fun conversations, book recommendations and other ways to engage with each other and the John Jay community.

Off-Campus Experiences

We, in collaboration with other student clubs and organizations, offer many opportunities for students to learn, bond, and engage with the community outside of John Jay. This past year our students participated in overnight retreats to Pennsylvania and day trips to cultural and educational sites such as the African American History Museum in Washington DC.
