A Dispute Resolution Roundtable
Negotiating is an art. The mediator is the shepherd of the negotiation process and employs various skills to guide but not to decide the result. The art of knowing how to influence settlement while respecting the canon of self-determination can sometimes result in blurred lines, especially in complex matters. Ethics rules are clear in defining the mediator's role as a facilitator. Join us for a walk through the mind of a former commercial complex insurance claims veteran as she explores and explains roles and realities, not commonly known and rarely discussed.
