Transfer 550 Program

About Us

The Transfer 550 Program focuses on your fast-track journey as a CJA student to transition to John Jay College. We will provide financial incentives while you are at the community college for transfer activities that you complete. After you finish your associate’s degree and transfer to John Jay College, you will redeem your earnings by participating in a professional development online module or by getting metrocards.

Students will get one-on-one support with the transfer process and guidance on creating an integrated academic and career plan to ensure a smooth transition to John Jay.

Transfer 550 Program Requirements

• Must have earned 30 credits already at your community college to join
• Be in good academic standing (GPA=2.0 or higher)
• Must be a CUNY Justice Academy track student
• Complete activities to earn 550
• Communicate frequently
