Are You Ready? Online Readiness Tool

The “Are You Ready?” Online Readiness Course is designed to prepare you for taking an online course. Whether the course is synchronous, asynchronous, or hybrid, this tool will cover a variety of topics that help you navigate in an online environment.

This is a self-paced activity. On average, it takes about one hour to complete. It is recommended that you complete Are You Ready in one sitting.

Upon completing this activity, you will receive a certification of completion in the Awards link on the Brightspace navigation bar. You will need to download your certificate and then upload it below (click on Upload) to submit the proof of completion. 

To access the “Are You Ready?” Online Readiness Course, you will need to do the following:

• Log into the Learning Management System (LMS) Brightspace 
• Click on the Home icon in the upper left-hand corner of the page.
• In the "My Courses" widget, select “Organizations” and look for "John Jay College - Student Online Readiness Course – Are You Ready - AY 2024-2025."
