Welcome to the Pre-Law Institute!
Are you thinking about going to law school? As part of the Center for Post-Graduate Opportunities, the Pre-Law Institute will work with you to help you:
- Consider whether you would like to be a lawyer and attend law school
- Explore different legal career paths
- Think about lawyers roles as advocates for justice
- Prepare for the LSAT, draft a law school personal statement, enhance your resume, and submit your law school applications
- Network with law schools, lawyers and law students
- Apply for law school scholarship opportunities
- Get ready for the academic rigors of law school
You do not need to "join" the Pre-Law Institute; our programs and services are available to all John Jay students and alumni.
