Dr. Kenny Gonzalez is a clinical forensic psychologist, specializing in police and public safety psychology. Dr. Gonzalez earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a forensic concentration from Montclair State University. His research examines risk assessment, forensic mental health, and culturally responsive evaluation practices in law enforcement settings. He has presented at national and international conferences, contributing to the field through publications on forensic assessment, criminogenic risk factors, and the role of multicultural competence in public safety evaluations. Beyond his applied work, Dr. Gonzalez has taught courses in psychology of criminal behavior, psychology and law, personality psychology, and research methods at Montclair State University and John Jay College of Criminal Justice. His dedication to advancing forensic psychology is reflected in his ongoing research, teaching, and clinical practice, particularly in ensuring equitable and evidence-based psychological evaluations in law enforcement contexts.
