Bio

Ms. Kumskova – a former student at John Jay College, McNair student and John Jay-Vera fellow – is currently a Senior UN Advocacy and Policy adviser with the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC), where she support civil society advocacy efforts on peaccebuilding at the UN both in the headquarters in NY as well as in the field. Her areas of expertise include human rights, peace and security, gender analysis and counterterrorism.
