Academic Advisor, Political Science and Law & Society Majors
BA, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles
If I wasn't an Academic Advisor I would have been a food critic.
My majors in college were History & Political Science and I chose them because I believe college is the time to learn and explore the things you are most interested in. My freshman year I took the most enthralling modern middle eastern history class. I was so intrigued by the topic and the fact that I knew so little about it, that I decided to declare history as my major. The same goes for Political Science.
The top three life skills that I learned while in college are:
1) How to successfully do my own laundry; and that it's okay if your socks don't always match.
2) Time management.
3) Not just how to prioritize, but what to prioritize.
My favorite movie is:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
If my life had a theme song it would be Leaving on a Jet Plane by Peter, Paul and Mary.
