Jay Walk - Rooftop Park

John Jay College is located in the heart of Manhattan.  Within walking distance, you will find Central Park, Lincoln Center, Times Square and many more iconic landmarks.  If that's not enough, you can stay on campus and enjoy 60,000 square feet of our own park nestled in between two buildings.

Information Sessions and campus tours are a great way to learn more about the undergraduate application process, academic programs and campus life.  Registration is required for all visitors.  Please note, dates and times that reach full capacity will be closed.

*If you are interested in touring our housing facilities at The New Yorker Hotel, we recommend you register for a morning campus tour session to allow ample time for commuting.  There is no additional registration required for the housing tour. Housing tours are offered daily at 2:30 pm only.

We also provide weekend Information Sessions and Tours. Please click on the desired date to RSVP:

If you are a school counselor or teacher interested in visiting campus with five or more of your students, please check back in the coming weeks for group tour registration information for the Spring 2020 semester. School group tours are offered only in the fall and spring semesters. We are able to accomodate a maximum of 20 students per school group session.

*Please note: Due to a high volume of high school group requests, we are only unable to accomodate elementary and middle school students. Group tours are approximately 50 minutes, no information session is provided and we can accomodate a school once a semester.
