Information for Conditionally Accepted Students

You have been identified as a prospective student for John Jay College’s Percy Ellis Sutton

Search for Education, Elevation and Knowledge (SEEK) Program for the Fall 2021 semester.

The SEEK Program is an enrichment program designed to support the academic experience of a student who has the potential to succeed in college but faces financial challenges. SEEK students receive additional financial support and supplementary services, such as academic counseling, academic support and mentoring.
 
To be considered for the SEEK Program, you must:
Admission to SEEK is conditional until you have done the following:
1. Meet the income criteria (see the eligibility guidelines)
2. Upload all documents to the Financial Aid Office by May 1st.  Financial aid documents can be uploaded here  (You will need to create an account in order to upload documents).  
**You will be able to upload documents beginning January 27th.
3. Commit to completing SEEK's Summer Academy.
 
If selected, you will be sent an official admission letter inviting you to attend the SEEK Summer Academy.  Attendance is mandatory. If not selected, you will be advised to attend one of the CUNY Justice Academy programs at a Community College.
You are encouraged to upload all documents to the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible.  There is limited space in the program.
