Bio
Professor John Allen Stern is a member the History Department of John Jay College. He earned his MA and PhD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. The focus of his intellectual pursuits includes, United States diplomatic relations, modern American history, and United States propaganda during the Cold War. He is the author of articles and essays about World War II and diverse other topics which have appeared in the prestigious Russian Journal, Voprosy Historii, and American publications such as Counterpunch. Professor Stern has also edited for historical accuracy, Making Peace With The Sixties, by historian David Burner, and, more recently, The End of America, by noted feminist author, Naomi Wolf. He currently awaits the publication of his groundbreaking work on American Cold War propaganda titled, C.D. Jackson: Godfather of Modern Propaganda.
