Bio

David Sarni is a retired NYPD Detective who worked within several positions during his more than 27 year career. Most of his work was dedicated to conducting criminal and narcotics investigations.  Toward the end of his career, he was involved in the training of new and currently assigned investigators in the Detective Bureau on numerous topics. He played a crucial role in developing courses for these investigators, and teaching uniformed and civilian members of the service in the NYPD in various subjects. Mr. Sarni is also certified by NYS Division of Criminal Justice  in  general  topics and in  training unarmed security guards for state licensing. He has been a continuous contributor presenting at the NYPD's Homicide Investigators Course.
