Bio
Amanda Pérez is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Public Management at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). She currently teaches courses in program evaluation.
Ms. Pérez brings over fifteen years of experience working with public programs in the non-profit sector, and has been conducting evaluative analyses of various programs since 2007. She is currently the Director of Quality and Compliance at BronxWorks, an anti-poverty organization in the Bronx that has been providing services for community residents since 1972. At BronxWorks, Ms. Pérez is responsible for developing measurable outcomes across all programs, as well as systems for tracking and achieving said outcomes at the organizational and funder levels. She also provides guidance to the Continuous Quality Improvement team, monitors programmatic compliance with key deliverables, and oversees risk management functions for the organization. Prior to joining BronxWorks, Ms. Pérez served as the Senior Director of Contracts and Outcomes at NYC Mission Society, an organization that fights poverty through educational initiatives.
