The Exchange Visitor Program is carried out pursuant to the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961, as amended. Its purpose is to foster mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries through educational and cultural exchanges. All Exchange Visitors are expected to return to their home country upon completion of their program in order to share their exchange experiences with people of that country. John Jay College Of Criminal Justice is designated by the Department of State to host Exchange Visitors in the following categories:
