The mission of the Prisoner Reentry Institute at John Jay College of Criminal Justice is to spur innovation and improve practice in the field of reentry by advancing knowledge; translating research into effective policy and service delivery; and fostering effective partnerships between criminal justice and non-criminal justice disciplines.

Students: Apply for a 2012 - 2013 Pinkerton Fellowship in Youth Justice

 

The Pinkerton Fellowship Initiative places talented John Jay students into year-long positions at youth justice nonprofit community-based organizations. Ten promising Juniors and Seniors will be placed as Community Fellows in direct service roles and four advanced graduate students will strengthen the evidence orientation and analytical capacity of participating agencies.
