If you work in the New York City Police Department and you’re interested in earning a master’s degree, you’ve come to the right place. We have many courses of study designed to meet your needs.

Through the NYPD Certificate Program, John Jay also offers members of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) the opportunity to develop their leadership skills. Available to NYPD-sworn uniform members of the service carrying firearms, this program provides a package of four, 3-credit undergraduate or graduate tuition-free courses during the fall and spring semesters. Students who complete the program are awarded a professional certificate and can apply certificate course credits toward an undergraduate or graduate degree at the College.
To learn more about this program, contact Mr. William Devine, Administrative Director at 212.237.8987 or email wdevine@jjay.cuny.edu.
