Two major professional events occur every year at the College: the Career Fair and the Job Fair.

The Career Fair takes place during the first week of December and is open to all current John Jay undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni. This educational and informative event brings together recruiters from many federal, state and city governmental agencies, graduate programs and law schools, nonprofit organizations and private industry. Some representatives may collect resumes or other contact information. If you wish to attend the Career Fair, you are required to come dressed in traditional interview attire.

The Job Fair takes place in April and is open to all current John Jay undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni. If you wish to attend the Job Fair, you are required to come dressed in traditional interview attire with at least thirty (30) copies of a professional resume in hand in order to be admitted to this event. Prior to admission, your resume will be reviewed and you will be screened to insure proper dress. Furthermore, you are required to leave a copy of your resume at the entrance to the Job Fair. Recruiters may collect your resume and contact qualified candidates for available positions.
