Through individual counseling, regular workshops, career panels, and networking events like recruitment and job fairs, we work with you as you explore various career options, test your interests through internships and other practical experiences, and build the professional network that will enable you to secure a job and build your career reputation.

John Jay Careers Online is our online portal to career services at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Students and alumni can view internship and job postings, request appointments with a career counselor, and view our events calendar of workshops, information sessions, and career fairs. Employers can post opportunities with their organizations, request recruiting events at John Jay, and conduct on campus interviewing all through this system!

• Employer registration is live for the Spring 2012 JOHN JAY COLLEGE JOB & INTERNSHIP FAIR! We invite all employers to register to attend our Spring 2012 Job & Internship Fair on Thursday, April 26, 2011. To register for this event, please create an account with our John Jay Careers Online system (click Employer Log-In). Once you have registered in the system and we have approved your account, you will receive an email with your username and password which will allow you to log-in and register for our event!   
• DROP-IN COUNSELING is available! We encourage all students to use these 15-minute appointments for resume or cover letter editing assistance or for basic career questions. You may sign-up for an appointment day-of when we open in the morning. Drop-In hours are held every Monday – Friday from 1:30PM to 3:30PM.
• WORKSHOPS! The Center offers a robust array of regular workshop offerings, including resume and cover letter-writing, interview skills, professional networking, job and internship search strategies, and professional dress. Log on to John Jay Careers Online to view our schedule under “Calendar”.
